We are so pleased we found Marianne as we cannot leave our little Yorkie in kennels, she would be too afraid. She is such a nervous dog having come from a Rescue Centre and we suspect discarded from a Puppy Farm.
It wasn’t long though before she took to Marianne who has looked after her marvellously even letting her sleep by her bed
When we went to collect Milly she was in no great hurry to leave!
Marianne is a lovely, caring lady and is perfectly suited to care for small dogs.
We also appreciated receiving e.mails whilst on holiday letting us know Milly was fine.
We are confident and pleased to leave her with Marianne on future occasions and have already made our next booking.
A Luxury Hotel for Labradors!
Our labrador, Sonia gave a five star review for the choice of two sofas, twice daily walks – including a long on in the afternoon, and continual love and care and attention. At home she only has one sofa!
Roxy and Reggie my minpin and Russian toy terrier were well looked after when we went to a wedding weekend. Marianne really cares about dogs. She was specially patient with nervous Roxy and had lots of cuddles with Reggie. They enjoyed playing in the garden and being spoilt. Thankyou Marianne
Thank you so much Marianne for helping us feel confident to leave our two Wippets with you. It was the first time we had ever left them anywhere and with one of our dogs being a rescue we were a little concerned at how he would react. But they were so relaxed and you put our minds at rest, even emailing us while we were away to let us know how they were getting on! It’s good to know that we don’t need to worry when we want to go away again. We will certainly use you again.

Thank you Marianne for looking after Lolly and Roxy. Lolly is always fuzzy but willingly got out of the car to go into house and at the end of the stay was not pulling me to leave. Both dogs were chilled out and enjoyed the pampering they had received. Will definitely use again and cannot speak too highly of the care received especially as our Lolly is now old as well as being a home dog.
Our 5 month old cavalier King Charles Roxy has found a new friend. A lovely lady and I did not have any concerns with leaving our puppy in such a loving household. Would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be using Marianne again. Thank you.
Max was very happy to meet Marianne and took to her straight away. He enjoyed his stay with her and got thoroughly spoiled. It was reassuring to receive emails from Marianne while we were away, telling us how Max got on. It’s a home from home for Max and we know we don’t have to worry about him when we leave him with Marianne. Thank you for looking after Max so well.
Thank you Marianne for taking such good care of our Welsh Terrier Poppy whilst we were away for the weekend. Poppy hates kennels but settled beautifully with you and your care was first class, you obviously put a great deal of love and effort into looking after your charges. Izzy was very happy to stay with Marianne and enjoyed her lovely run in the fields close by. Our minds were put at rest when Marianne emailed to let us know that Izzy was fine which allowed us to relax and enjoy our weekend away. Already booked Izzy in for her next stay.
Marianne we cannot thank you enough for looking after Millie Molly & Alfie they had an amazing time whilst staying with you! We were so worried about leaving our precious pets as previously we had been able to call on family to look after them! Amanda was concerned that we would be missed terribly on our families visit in December 2012…… our 3 x Border Collies (one only 8 weeks old!) loved it.
When it came to going on honey-moon, there was only one choice – Lostwithiel here we came! This time the concerns from Amanda were more along the lines of “what if they want to stay there?”
Please beware of the narrowness of the street, but the terraced house is just an amazing home from home for anyone’s loved family (well dogs I guess!!)
Marianne thank you so much for looking after Ellie. She had a lovely time with you and enjoyed having a new fiend to play and walk with. If we are in Cornwall with Ellie again and need somewhere for her to stop we will definitely be contacting you again.
Thank you to marianne for looking after my 5 month old border terrier x jack russel called Henry. I was worried about leaving him as he’s only a baby, but I had no need to worry at all. After a shy beginning Henry soon came out of his shell and had a wonderful time! Thank you! Zoe
Massa, our much loved labradoodle, stayed with Marianne for nine days in May. We chose Marianne after a lot of searching as we didn’t want to put a young dog into a caged kennel. This was the best choice we could ever have made. Massa was immediately at home and it was obvious that Marianne cares for her guests deeply. He was well looked after and exercised with plenty of love and attention which was just what we were looking for. Thank you Marianne, we will be back in the future.
Marianne looked after our lovely boy Diesel for a week. He(and us) was a little apprehensive as this was the first time he had stayed with a sitter without his life long companion Jenny. We need not of worried, he had a fabulous time and we had lots of comforting texts telling us how he was doing.
He had lots of long walks and companions and came back to us a very happy chappy. Thank you Marianne and your family for taking such good care of our lovely boy.
Having never left my Tibetan Terrier Ollie with anyone before I have to say I was a little bit nervous. I needn’t have worried from the minute Ollie was introduced to Marianne and her daughter I felt at ease. Ollie settled in to his new home and had everything he could possibly want warmth, companionship, attention and lots of exercise. I’m sure we’ll be back a happy dog makes a happy owner. What a lovely holiday home for our Cavalier, Rufus. We could see that he would be happy with Marianne, she was so kind to him – we didn’t get a backward glance when we dropped him off! When we picked him up after 3 days he was our usual happy little chappie and not stressed or upset at being left at all. Wouldn’t hesitate to leave him with you again, Marianne. Thank you so much.
Marianne clearly cares deeply for her dog guests. she talks about their different personalities and needs and spent time asking questions about our dog Archie before his stay. He’s an energetic Brittany Spaniel who needs a run so the field and woodland walks were ideal for him – the fact that Marianne’s rear garden backs onto the fields makes it all the better! He seemed very much at home as he bounded down the stairs when we came to collect him after his week long stay. Thanks Marianne!
Our Springer Spaniel, Billie has stayed with Marrianne twice now and the biggest compliment we can pay to Marrianne’s unique care is the sight of Billie dashing straight from our car into Marrianne’s house on only her second visit. Truly Billie has a new found friend which now makes going away much more enjoyable and worry free.
Ive just returned after picking up Tyler my Jack Russell from Marieanne,this is the second time that Tyler has stayed with Aunty Marieanne he is an extremely lively little dog who craves attention,love and affection and he got this and more,a warm loving home with toys and long walks,I had a weekend away safe in the knowledge that Tyler is happy and being looked after in a ‘Home from Home’enviroment and he appeares to have really bonded with Marianne and her Daughter,my only wish is that they continue this lovely service as it gives me great peace of mind that when im on holiday having a good time Tyler is too,Thank You so much xx
Poppy and Tetley have just come home from what I can only describe as and adventure holiday with Marianne. I went to collect them during a walk and could not believe how happy they were. We will defiantly be using your services again. Many thanks and WOOF!

Our energetic and rather demanding Irish Setter had a lovely time with Marianne. Wonderful walks on the doorstep, friends to play with and lots of love and attention. We returned to a very happy bunny and we wouldn’t think of boarding her anywhere else now.
